Target Grabs Kenny Loggins and 14 Other Exclusive Adult CD Releases

Target Stores will release exclusive CD's by Kenny Loggins, David Cassidy and other adult artists, as well as a Phil Ramone-produced CD with new songs by Carole King, Brian Wilson, Burt Bacharach, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Richard Marx and others.

The retailer has partnered independent label 180 Music to release 15 adult contemporary CD via all 1,449 stores on Feb. 27 for $9.99 each. Similar releases are set to follow, according to 180 Music's Jim Brandmeier. He is one of several industry veterans involved in the venture.
